Counting today, 9 days left to make your healthy April goal a reality (or to start, never too late, you don’t have to follow our monthly time frames, jump on in! 🙂 ).  Check-in with us, remind us of what your big healthy goal has been, or what your mini-just-this-week-goal has been.  Share with us how it’s been going.  Let us know how we can help or if you have questions.

  1. A belated check-in here from me 🙂 As of Saturday when I last weighed in I was down 6.8 lbs since starting my April challenge. I’m still in the same ol’ weight decade, but I feel a lot more energized and my waist feels smaller. I’ll measure at the end of April. I was out sick all of last week with a chest cold and although I didn’t get to work out because of the illness, I was able to control my food intake. Half the equation. But it worked for me. Also finally made progress last week on my stated goal for April, which wasn’t to lose weight, but was to fit in more water and more strength training. I have been 10 days now without a Diet Mt Dew in the afternoon. I’ve been drinking a lot more water. Baby steps but I’m really dang proud of it. The next 3 days are going to be fantastic as I keep drinking lots of water and keep up the intensity. Got out on my road bike for this season’s maiden cruise on Monday. Was a student in a yoga class and then went dancing on Tuesday. Went for a run today, Wednesday. I am proud that I’ve been mixing things up, but hope that my May challenge holds more strength training 🙂 for me. It will! I’d love to hear how you all are doing. Please share!
