How are your healthy living goals going? Christen, how did the less-screen-time experiment go? Amy, how is the personal training accountability going? Everyone check-in and let us know how it’s going. What tips/tricks/motivation/cheers can we help with?
My yoga students this weekend will be treated with this little thought on balance:
We often misunderstand balance. Balance isn’t having everything even, neat, stacked. Think of the revolutionary architects in the day who designed cantilevers. Balance is found when one part extends and another anchors. Strengthen the base, the anchor, the heart, the courage. Then live balanced no matter what direction you reach.
To maintain the balance, nourish & strengthen the base but then keep moving, reaching, extending, touching lives, and putting one foot in front of the other.
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” –Albert Einstein
What do you think?
