Running Breath

I just read a great new post by the No-Meat Athlete, Matt Frazier.  Check it out!

How Should You Breathe When You Run? A Remarkably Effective Approach to Easier Breathing

Inspiration from Scott Jurek, John Douillard, & Thich Nhat Hanh.  Breathe through the nose- not mouth- when you run.  Breathe at a slower pace.  This decreases heart rate, makes the body more relaxed – no fight-or-flight stress response like breathing through the mouth creates- so you can run in the zen-like “zone,” and actually will increase performance.

Gonna try it! What do you think?  Sounds a lot like YOGA, friends.
