Here’s the thought from a few weeks ago that I shared in all my yoga classes:
It’s the season of drama! Lots of family, lots of friends, lots of time commitments, lots of travel, lots of stress. Kudos to you for making it to your YOU time.
In this season of frenzy, this anonymous adage is so re-centering for me.
“There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it is sent away”
Maybe there is a friend or a family member we can be more patient with.
Maybe there is a dream or goal we can be more resilient or determined in living towards.
Maybe it’s just waking up each morning with a decision to radiate beauty & love, no matter what others decide.
Borrow some of the ocean’s determination, patience, and powerful commitment. Love with all you’ve got no matter if it’s received or not. Don’t get hung up on others validating or invalidating your ability to love. Don’t waste energy, just love and keep moving. Love lots, don’t get fixated. Loving makes your heart grow bigger for more people, including yourself.
What are your thoughts on this?
