Alright, time for the cheesy New Year’s resolution post 🙂
What are you resolving to do for 2013?

Here is what I have come up with for now health-wise, and I might add more when I’m done brainstorming:
- Be able to hold plank for 5 minutes without resting
- Take enough pole fitness classes to rock out my 1st showcase performance
- Film and post 10 videos for the Prana Fitness website
For the plank goal, I’m choosing this b/c it’s a goal of physical strength and mental determination. I know inside of me I’ve got the ability to do this, that I’m stronger than I realize each day, that I’ve got more gut and determination than I live regularly. It’s a goal just for me.
For the pole performance goal, I’m choosing this because it’s a goal of fear-conquering & confidence…well and strength, b/c it’s hard as hell to do pole. I know I have inside of me this totally confident and strong goddess and this is me embracing that and learning to let it loose, regardless of what anyone else might think.
For the Prana Fitness website goal, I want to exponentially increase the reach of this cool organization past the borders of Colorado and get in people’s living rooms via the computer to encourage them and uplift them. I plan on having lots of fitness and nutrition experts involved, so it’s not just my mug in it. I know I have it inside of me to have a bigger positive impact in more ways to more people. We’re not meant to live small and in a bubble.
Whatever it is, I challenge you to pick something that involves sloughing off your doubts and fears, or whatever other people say you are, and involves diving into your own heart and bringing to the surface the strength, courage, and impactability that you find there. Let’s make 2013 a year of being stronger than we’ve ever been before.
