Here are the yoga thoughts from this week:
The silver lining of turning your life upside down and having everything fall out of your pockets is that you get to pick and choose that which you put back into your pockets. Each breath, pose, moment, day is an opportunity for us to do this inventory and cleansing. Hold close to your heart only that which most fulfills you. Let go of that which isn’t meant for you.
“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” – unknown*
Turn upside down this week by trying supported headstand, salamba sirsasana. Here are the instructions for getting into it. Turn your world upside down, shake out your pockets, let go of things not meant for you, and then be selective and honest about what you let back into your heart or hold close to your heart!
