Here are the yoga thoughts from this week’s classes:
Going along with the theme from last week’s classes, I really liked this quote about removing your mask and owning who you are.
“The greatest act of courage is to be and own all that you are. Without apology, without excuses, and without any masks to cover the truth of who you really are.”
Lace up your sneakers. Mount your bike. Roll out your yoga mat. Pull on your gloves. Whatever it is that you like to do to feel healthy, STRONG, and ALIVE, do it. Do it often. Then in those moments where the body hits its rhythm, where the only thing you hear is your breath and pumping heart, allow strength and life to course through every inch of you, until there is no denying you KNOW your strength, you know your calm, you know your happiness. Then carry the knowledge of who you are, your self-acceptance, the pride of your strength and intrinsic WORTH, the POWER of your impact in the world, carry that with you, FREE from masks, and own it. Every interaction with strangers, colleagues, friends, family, OWN IT. Own who you are. Let that confidence of you being you, your LOVE, your strength, your resiliency, your calm, SHINE through every pore. In this is COURAGE. Be you.
