Spring Training #4

Spring is here! Let’s dust off winter with some heart-pumping spring training.  During the month of April, Prana Fitness is going to post daily one workout move or yoga pose that you can do at home, at a park, or anywhere.

April 4th: Over-Unders

Begin in side plank, belly pulled into spine, tailbone tucked, legs squeezed together, ankles flexed, top arm reaching to the sky.  Then slowly draw the top arm underneath the bottom side of your ribcage, as far into the open space under the torso as you can reach, then unwind and extend the top arm to the sky again.  Go for full extension at the top each time, re-squeezing the tailbone in and belly to spine.
