Spring is here! Let’s dust off winter with some heart-pumping spring training. During the month of April, Prana Fitness is going to post daily one workout move or yoga pose that you can do at home, at a park, or anywhere.
April 20th: Chair Tick Tocks
Stand with your legs and ankles together. Sit back into an imaginary chair behind you. Put all your weight into your heels and move your shins back. Slightly tuck tailbone to minimize the C-curve of the low back and to accentuate the belly muscle engagement. Squeeze tummy up into spine. Extend neck long and neutral. Extend arms overhead in line with ears. With a tight core, tick tock your hips left and right. Major ab workout. Keep on going as long as you can but keep the weight back into your heels- stay off your toes. Get it!
