Spring is here! Let’s dust off winter with some heart-pumping spring training. During the month of April, Prana Fitness is going to post daily one workout move or yoga pose that you can do at home, at a park, or anywhere.
April 23rd: Quarter Boat
Lay on back. Extend legs into air above you, hip-width distance apart. Stack heels above knees above hips. Press low back flat into the ground. Then lower just one leg to hover above the ground, only going as low as you can still maintain the low back sealed to the ground. Don’t let the low back arch up, pull down with your belly. Hold with relaxed shoulders and slow breath for about 30 seconds (or longer). Then change to do the other side. Get it!
