Spring is here! Let’s dust off winter with some heart-pumping spring training. During the month of April, Prana Fitness is going to post daily one workout move or yoga pose that you can do at home, at a park, or anywhere.
April 27th: Bridge
Lay on back. Bend knees into air with soles of feet on ground. Extend arms on ground towards feet. Move heels in close to fingertips. Wiggle shoulder blades together underneath heart and move shoulders down away from ears. Push down through balanced feet to lift up hips as high as possible. Hold. Variations could include pulsing from highest position down until hips are an inch from the ground, and back up. Another variation is to circle your hips when they are in the highest position, being sure to go in each direction. Major booty and ab workout in those variations! Get it!
