Tara Zimmerman, Full-Time wife and mom to 4 daughters, has always been active and excited about all things fitness. He has her BS in Health and Exercise Science, and she began her career as a Physical Therapist for spinal rehabilitation patients in Denver. Her work in the rehabilitation realm reminded her daily of the importance of taking care of and loving our bodies. After the birth of her second daughter in 2010, she was challenged to run her first half marathon…and now is officially hooked on running, and all it has done for her body, mind, and family. New this year, Tara is coaching a Girls On The Run Team affiliated with her oldest daughter’s elementary school. GOTR “inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.” Tara is very excited to bring these same ideas to Prana Fitness’ mission to help us all continually reach for that “vital life.”
